Summary:

Top Hat is looking for amazing people to join our sales team in our Toronto office! We’re looking for highly motivated, energetic self-starters with unparalleled interpersonal skills. You'll be responsible for reaching out to professors, getting them excited about our SaaS Platform, and bringing Top Hat into as many classrooms as possible through a hybrid, inside and outside sales function.

Essential Functions:

  • You will own the full sales cycle, selling into Universities and Colleges across North America.
  • You will drive revenue by selling Top Hat's Engagement platform by owning a territory of higher education institutions.
  • You will book meetings, run virtual and on-campus meetings/demonstrations and follow up to close new business.
  • You will grow the campus user base through lead generation, referrals, and establishing/maintaining relationships with the Professors.
  • You will have a mission of showing Professors the value of using our platform in their classrooms and how we are revolutionizing the traditional classroom model.

Qualifications:

  • You are a highly motivated, energetic person, who loves to win business and hustles to ensure your success
  • You have 1-2 years previous cold-calling experience in an outbound sales environment
  • You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • You have held a quota and were able to attain and crush it! You stay positive and resilient throughout the entire sales cycle
  • You are a creative problem-solver; you provide unique solutions on-the-fly to interesting and challenging problems
  • You have completed a bachelor's degree or have demonstrated equivalent experience
  • You have experience using Salesforce.com or another CRM
  • You are passionate about education and excited to be part of a team that is a thought leader in innovating the higher education space
