We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our Sales Force and assist the PTG Manager, of Business Development acquire new business and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have selling and administrative duties in developing and implementing market sales strategies.As an intern you will get to work with a variety of our staff, while working on real projects that will help reach our targets.

Essential Functions:

As a Sales Intern, you will collaborate with our Sales and Marketing Teams in all stages of the sales cycle. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our sales efforts within our Professional Trade Group.


This internship will help you acquire sales & research skills and provide you with knowledge of various selling strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in sales and should be prepared to enter a fast-paced work environment.


The Company's internship program is intended to provide students the opportunity to practice business skills learned in school while gaining “real-world” experience and provide you with the opportunity to contribute through challenging work.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Remotely meet with potential customers for new business
  • Conduct needs assessments via phone and video conferencing
  • Develop relationships with existing & new customers
  • Perform market analysis and research on prospective customers & sales channels
  • Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Help organize and attend events, meetings
  • Support the sales team in daily administrative tasks
  • Prepare email campaigns & presentations
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities


Applicants must be at least 18 and full-time undergraduates during the 2017- 2018 academic year, attending classes at a Canadian college or University, and having permission to work in Canada. Distance education and online students are welcome to apply.


Ability to work full time (Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm) throughout the internship
