$38,000 to $70,000

Summary:

The Sales Account Manager position is responsible for the day to day account management and support of national, regional and local closed loop gift card partner accounts. The AM will be responsible for building strong account relationships that lead to long term partnerships, increased card sales, and ultimately exclusive account retention. This role is cross-functional and perfect for a self-motivating, dynamic individual with a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a business environment
  • Background in project management and client services
  • Ability to perform job functions with little direct supervision
  • Ability to build, maintain and grow strong relationships through email and phone communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication as well as analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to solve problems in an evolving business environment
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Advanced in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Essential Functions:

  • Day-to-Day manage of an account portfolio consisting of national, regional or local partner accounts
  • Responsible for up-sell to accounts for participation in key Blackhawk Network initiatives
  • Facilitate card inventory management and card inventory production processes
  • Present opportunities and secure approval for expanded distribution throughout the Blackhawk Network
  • Work with accounts to develop new products as applicable
  • Secure participation from accounts for marketing promotional efforts
  • Create, manage and present sales, program tracking and results reports
  • Timely and strategic follow through on all account requests
  • Some negotiation of contracts including renewals and extensions
