Business Development Manager - Education

$75,000 to $100,000

Summary:

MTFX is a leading FinTech Company with a 22-year track record looking for experienced sales professionals to help us attract and obtain new partners in the educational industry.

Essential Functions:

This individual is passionate, understands the urgency of a start-up like setting, and take ownership of their tasks while working in a team setting.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales goals;
  • Develop a new business pipeline of qualified sales prospects;
  • Build executive level relationships;
  • Primarily responsible for sourcing and communicating MTFX FinTech international tuition payment solutions to colleges and universities across Canada and the United States;
  • Identify and establish complimentary sales partnerships;
  • Partner with internal team members to follow-up on new prospective clients and close new business;
  • Create inbound lead activity (i.e. webinars);
  • Track all sales activities in HubSpot;

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate has:

  • University degree preferred;
  • 3-5 years in a outside sales capacity (at least 2 years in Information Technology/Services);
  • Well-defined and organized sales process;
  • Experience developing new business pipeline and nurturing client and partnership prospects;
  • Ability to grow and establish credibility with Executive level network;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: verbal and written;
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals;
  • Experience with Hubspot;
  • Fluency in English (required); other languages are a plus;
  • The ability to work independently and as a team player.

The business development manager's main responsibility is to identify, research, pursue, and close new business opportunities of specified size and value using various sales and marketing channels. Individuals will be required to hit monthly and quarterly new business targets. The ideal candidate will bring energy and excitement to the team, as we leverage our corporate culture and innovative ways to deliver value to our clients and future prospects. Competitive base salary with uncapped commissions.
