Account Manager

$50,000 to $60,000


Under the responsibility of the Toronto General Manager, the new Account Manager will have the mandate of servicing an existing portfolio of clients while emphasizing on the development and acquisition of new clients. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8h00 am to 4h30 pm. Group benefits are offered after a three months period.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the proactive promotion of all products offered by the company
  • Meets periodically with clients to present products and maximise the volume of sales (Contacts objectives by phone, email and face to face)
  • Prospecting new customers through networking, referrals and cold calling
  • Have a thorough understanding of all products offered in order to properly identify your clients’ needs.
  • Use the CRM tools daily to schedule meetings and develop a prospects list
  • Participates in all business development activities in his region (Trade shows, conferences etc.)
  • Develop and maintain good business relations with all the players in the industry
  • Meet weekly with the General Manager to review activities and objectives
  • All other tasks deemed relevant

  • Strong written and oral skills combined with abilities to make group presentations
  • Entrepreneurial spirit willing to do what it takes to be successful
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Expert listening skills with rapport building capabilities
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Understanding of the industrial textile or glove industries considered an asset
  • Cold-calling sales experience, ideally selling business-to-business products considered an asset
  • Sales experience in any of our product lines will be considered an asset
  • Comfortable using Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other similar programs
  • Owning a car, a valid driving licence and be willing to spend a majority of your time on the road


  • Undergraduate degree or a combination of relevant sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience
  • Knowledge of commercial and/or industrial sales environment
